We have written letters to missionaries for the past four years to keep in touch. For the last couple of years while Dallin was in Costa Rica we have cherished the Family Home Evening activity of reading family letters. Everyone would write on Sunday or Monday (Monday was Dallin's p-day) and the emails would travel to all of us in an instant. We could know how each was doing that very day! I could be caught laughing or sometimes even crying as I enjoyed each email. It gave me strength to go on and buoyed me up for a week.
Now in January 2009 we as a family would like to carry on the tradition of writing to each other every week. We want to hear about the challenges and the accomplishments of our children. We want to read about their work and play and see their testimonies written in ink. 2009 shall be a wonderful year!
